The Bar & Garden
The Bar is the heart of the Greenman is a genuinely warm and welcoming environment with an open fire making it the perfect place to relax. On the walls are many wonderful old photographs of Partridge Green and Jolesfield in days gone by and we are reliably informed by one of our regular customers who is Partridge Green born & bread, that it was the custom for bull baiting to take place in the Bar on Boxing Day!
The Bar offers a selection of traditional British ales including a local favourite, Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter, brewed in the style of Sussex Bitters and is a mid-strength, well-hopped Best Bitter. Harvey Sussex includes a blend of finest malts and hops, well-balanced so that the malt flavours are not overshadowed by the hops.
With the best quality "supermarket free wines", champagnes, real ales and soft drinks to compliment your meal in surroundings dating back to the 18th century.
