We believe there is something truly wonderful about the magical feeling that surrounds Christmas – with tantalizing smells of Roast Turkey, Christmas Pud and Mulled Wine being enjoyed by a crackling log fire with family and friends. For us there is no better season than Christmas where we enjoy wonderful food, fine wine and a huge sprinkling of fun and laughter.
With that in mind we would very much like to welcome you to The Green Man this December where we believe we shine at this time of year. Our reputation for great food is complemented by our charming service and Festive atmosphere, making The Green Man the perfect place this December
Our Christmas Festive menu is served lunch and dinner Tuesday through to Friday and is available from Tuesday 3rd December through to Saturday 21st December 2019. (please note this menu is NOT available on the evenings of our Dinner Dances) Our Christmas menu is priced at £30.00 for 2 courses and £35.00 for 3 courses and is inclusive of crackers, balloons and novelties and VAT at the current rate of 20%. However, please note that there is an optional 10% service charge added to the total bill. This menu needs to be pre-ordered by the party 1 week prior to your booking.

Homemade Wild Mushroom Soup, Brunoise Potato and Truffle Oil


Traditional Bronze Roast Turkey Breast with Homemade Chestnut, Mushroom and Sausage meat stuffing. Served with Pigs in Blanket, Homemade Cranberry Sauce and Rich Gravy
Scotch 28 day dry aged Sirloin Steak served with Grilled Portobello Mushroom, Roasted Cherry Vine Tomato and Isle Wight Garlic Butter (Served medium rare or medium well done ONLY – £5pp supplement)
“Cherry Orchard” Crispy Belly of Pork infused with Honey Bee Cider, Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage, Mustard Mash and a Spiced Apricot Red Wine Jus

All the above main courses are served with Roast and Panache of Vegetables
Finest Oven Baked Fillet of Seabass with a Rich Lobster infused White Wine Cream Veloute enhanced with Garden Peas and Wild Mushrooms. Served with buttered New Potatoes
Deep Fried Creamy Chestnut, Wild Mushroom and Mozzarella stuffed Arancini Rice Balls served on a Homemade Fresh Basil Sauce. Served with Mixed Leaf Salad (V)


Traditional Rich Spiced Fruit Christmas Plum Pudding served with Brandy Sauce
