We believe there is something truly wonderful about the magical feeling that surrounds Christmas – with tantalizing smells of Roast Turkey, Christmas Pud and Mulled Wine being enjoyed by a crackling log fire with family and friends. For us there is no better season than Christmas where we enjoy wonderful food, fine wine and a huge sprinkling of fun and laughter.

With that in mind we would very much like to welcome you to The Green Man this December where we believe we shine at this time of year. Our reputation for great food is complemented by our charming service and Festive atmosphere, making The Green Man the perfect place this December

Our Christmas Festive menu is served lunch and dinner Tuesday through to Saturday and is available from Tuesday 1st December through to lunch on 24th December 2020. (please note this menu is NOT available on the evenings of our Dinner Dances) Our Christmas menu is priced at £33.50 for 2 courses and £38.50 for 3 courses and is inclusive of balloons and novelties and VAT at the current rate of 20%. However, please note that there is an optional 10% service charge added to the total bill.

Medley of Heritage Beetroot, Orange, Baby Spinach, Sun-dried Tomato, Rocket, Orange, Harrisa and Fennel. Topped with Hazelnut Brittle and finished with a Pomegranate Molasses and Balsamic Dressing (GF, V, DF, VG)
Green Man Smoked Salmon Terrine, Fresh Salmon, Fresh Dill, Cream and a touch of Sicilian Lemon. (GF)
Served with Dressed Watercress
Homemade Cream of Tomato Soup Basil Oil, Crouton (V, GF, VG)
Twice Baked Cheese Souffle with an Apple and Walnut Salad (VG)


Traditional Bronze Roast Turkey Breast with Homemade Cranberry, Orange and Sausage meat stuffing. Served with Pigs in Blanket,
Homemade Cranberry Sauce and Rich Gravy (GF, DF) 
“Cherry Orchard” Crispy Belly of Pork infused with Honey Bee Cider, Creamed Savoy Cabbage and Pancetta. Finished with a Rich Gravy and Apple Sauce (GF)
Scotch 28 day dry aged Fillet Steak “Diane”
Shallot, Chestnut Mushroom, Tarragon, Mustard, Brandy and Cream Sauce (GF)
