SONGKRAN AT THE GREEN MAN 16TH April 2021

Join us on 16th April 2021 as we celebrate one of the most striking festivals in the Thai calendars which coincide with the New Year of many calendars of South and South East Asia.

Songkran is Thai New Year and is celebrated every year between 13th – 16th April. Tradition is to bath yourself in water flavoured with scented flowers and herbs to generate good luck for the New Year and we will indeed have arrangements on the table for you douse yourself should you wish!

Nick has prepared a wonderful banquet, based on dishes that he prepared whilst working at the Five Star Luxury and highly awarded Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore and hope they whet your appetite for what we believe will be a wonderful takeaway! You will enjoy all the dishes on the menu and we believe they reflect the diverse, delicate and colourful culture of this region.

Aromatic Roasted Duck Breast in a Red Curry with Star Anise, Coconut and Chilli.
Finished with Fresh Pineapple, Lychee and Thai sweet basil
