We believe there is something truly wonderful about the magical feeling that surrounds Christmas –

with tantalizing smells of Roast Turkey, Christmas Pud and Mulled Wine being enjoyed by a crackling log fire with family and friends. For us there is no better season than Christmas where we enjoy wonderful food, fine wine and a huge sprinkling of fun and laughter.

However, this year is going to be a very different Christmas for us all but here at the Green man, we believe we shine at this time of year and we are determined to ensure that you have the best “Lockdown Festive Season “possible.

Our reputation for great food is complemented by our charming service and Festive atmosphere, making The Green Man the perfect place this December

Our Christmas Festive menu will be served lunch and dinner Wednesday through to Saturday. Our Festive Season is of course subject to HMG guidance and the law that will prevail during the Festive period. We are hopeful that some of the measures maybe lifted for the festive season but remain realistic that we may need to kindly ask customers to bear with us during these times.

STARTERS

Pigeon & Foie Gras

Terrine, Morello Cherries, Toasted Brioche (can be GF)

Medley of Heritage Beetroot, Orange, Baby

Spinach, Sun-dried Tomato, Rocket, Orange, Harrisa and Fennel. Topped with

Hazelnut Brittle and finished with a Pomegranate Molasses and Balsamic Dressing

Man Smoked Salmon, Salmon Rillette, Fresh Dill, Cream and a touch of Sicilian

Baked Cheese Souffle with an Apple and Walnut Salad (V)

Traditional Bronze Roast Turkey Breast with

Homemade Cranberry, Orange and Sausage meat stuffing. Served with Pigs in

Cranberry Sauce and Rich Gravy (GF, DF)

“Cherry Orchard” Crispy Belly of Pork infused

with Honeybee Cider, Creamed Savoy Cabbage and Pancetta.

with a Rich Gravy and Apple Sauce (GF)

The price per person is £28 for 2 courses or £34 for 3 courses and we include fresh artisan bread for the table, the menu as described and VAT. There is also an optional 10% gratuity charge added to the total bill. To ensure availability during these challenging times, we do ask that you pre-order your menu 5 days in advance to us via email.

Drinks and Wine are not included and will be charged accordingly. All deposits and payments are non-refundable in all instances including adverse weather conditions, unless The Green Man cancels your booking due to circumstances beyond our control.

A £5 deposit per person will be required upon booking. All balances to then be paid on the day.

Our kitchen contains nuts & flour. If you have any other allergies, please let us know. Dishes that are Gluten & Dairy Free are highlighted by GF/DF – however please always advise us as we can make our other sauces/dishes gluten free if required.
